Description
Create inventive solos and become a well-rounded musician! You'll learn to identify and play intervals, then master fourteen patterns which can be used to create original bass lines and propel any band. David shows you how to build an exciting arsenal of grooves, add a variety of scales to your lines, discover more exotic ways to play the blues, and gives numerous practice exercises.

I purchased both of the dvds. Indeed a great product. It mainly addresses players with some basic understanding of scales. But then David Gross takes it to the next level. Accompanied by a quitarist and a drummer (very good jazz players, all of them) David shows all the scales and modes with ecery chord, arpegio and a bassline.

Next he shows 14 (if i remember well) prototype basslines that can accompany every major music style.

A great player and a great instructor indeed.

There is a little technique there as well, but the main focus is in theory.
