Surprised & Pleased February 23, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you went by the title one would not necessarily choose this CD but I found it nice background music. Some of it gets a little droul but for the most part I've been enjoying listening to it. It helps put my clients to sleep, you see I own a spa.
That's about it.

soothing music for the stressed out goth. February 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
this is one very, very beautiful and relaxing CD of classical music, that address the spiritual dimension of the dark and grief filled times of all our lives. this music is so very touching at the level of what it means too be human (and, humane) at the darkest points of our existence. i cannot help but recommend this CD to all goths and other childer of the night; and everyone else too!

I know, you think funeral music, what? But, these are beautiful classical pieces with a more somber tone. I can listen to it all day. It's a two disc set, and even includes Agnus Dei, which is AKA the vocal rendition of Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber.
