A pinnacle album July 13, 2004

I've purchase about 2 dozen CDs in the past 6 months, and this is ON TOP as the greatest find! While I'm not patient enough to go over every track with a descriptive narrative, I will simply say this album is truly masterful and brilliant!! Everyone knows Berlin is a tremendous bass player. If you're into instrumental jazz with terrific energy and stellar, well thought-out arrangements, this is a pinnacle album. Of the 2,556 tracks on my iPod, the ones contained within Taking Notes take priority. If you liked Crossroads, you'll love Taking Notes. I'm hoping he'll put out a dozen more albums!!! I'm also a fan of Tribal Tech and many other jazz and fusion artists.
