This is a box set of Savall's masterful chamber ensemble recordings of what many would argue are Bach's two greatest works: The Art of the Fugue and The Musical Offering. Handsomely packaged, warmly and clearly recorded, and played with conviction and imagination. This is a fitting monument to Bach's genius and a reminder that his music still fascinates, delights, and intrigues. It is truly inexhaustable music: each time I hear either of these works, it's like hearing something brand new.
An amazing bargain on one of the classiest music labels around. Get this box set now before it goes out of print!
