Editorial Reviews:

Album Description
Hitting you hard like a hurricane, YA ESTA! invoke the spirits with the rumble of drums and the screams of electric guitars. They're the new generation of rumberos, mixing cuban son, rumba, funk, soul & bebop while giving props to the orishas. Playing a unique style of music they call simply "Afro Latino Soul", you can forget the pop stars, this is the REAL Latin music revolution.

Ya Esta!, have appeared in front of capacity crowds at Central Park Summerstage, Prospect Park Bandshell, the Knitting Factory, SOB's and many more.

Ya Esta's debut CD "Afro Latino Soul", produced by latin jazz great Arturo O'Farrill will be released on June 7th 2004. You can hear Ya Esta, and learn more at yaestamusica.com.

5 out of 5 stars A fantastic album!   July 29, 2004

Tremendous percussion grooves meet Bryan's passionate guitar to create an album that will keep you movin'. And you don't have to be Latino to relate to soulful songs like Obatala and No me Llores. I also enjoy playing dancy Vamanos P'al Monte and El Sonido in the mornings while I'm getting ready for work; their driving rhythms keep me going all day. This is a cool new band that I truly hope takes off; a mix of nostalgic Latin favorites, a modern rock groove, and plenty of funk is a necessary departure in a time of processed pop.
