Anthological compilation! September 18, 2007

Jean Pierre Rampal was always a very worried musician, always searching forgotten or overlooked material to carve in relief the many times forgotten possibilities of the flute. And in this time he presents us these works for flute of the master with admirable results.
So, in case you want to have all the musical material of the beloved Bonn's son, you should not miss this rewarding double album.

This is a magnificent collection of flute music from Beethoven. By and large it's mellow music, but also has bubbly moments as well. The sound quality is superlative.
