| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The String Swing S1 Home and Studio hanger has become the standard for hanging your instrument securely and conveniently. You say you'd like to practice more but digging your guitar out of the closet just turns you off. Hang it where you can get at it quick. You can adjust the width of the yoke to fit your guitar or mandolin. Rubber tubing insures that your instrument won't get scratched.

Does the job, but use a base support to protect the neck April 16, 2008 Wall hangers are good space-saving ideas, but I'm one of those who thinks they can stress necks, depending on the body/neck weight distribution and balance. I made my own hanging bases - just a carved slab of wood, really - to support the instrument from the bottom. The top hanger now just serves as a rest, but depending on the guitar's balance I'd recommend a heavy rubber band or something to stretch across the prongs if there's any tendency for the guitar to tilt forward.
cool March 26, 2008 It works, yes they are different colors if you buy more than one. I don't really care though.
Very Sturdy and HANDY! March 2, 2008 Great product for keeping the "axe" handy. whether I'm writing or practicing a new piece it keeps my Martin Guitar from getting knocked over or from sliding from the spot that I left it resting.

So simple and small, but what a big relief. This thing is so easy to install and works great. Save a lot of floor space and makes for a nice art piece when you aren't playing.
String Swing Guitar Hanger February 27, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought 4 of these wood hangers for my guitars and they all came with the same type of wood. Unless the wood is very different I don't see the problem because you really don't see much of the wood anyway. Great product at a great price. I did fine wall studs though and I think if you can, that is the way to go.
