I'm very pleased with this metronome. I bought this to help me during my piano practice. It is loud enough to hear over the sound of the piano, but it isn't obnoxiously loud. I didn't really need a compact model, but I choose this one anyway because it had good reviews on other sites and it was less expensive that the larger models.
I normally wouldn't discuss shipping times in a product review, but since the previous reviewer gave a poor review to a product that he never received, I felt that I should mention my experience was excellent. The item was shipped the next day and I received it just a couple of days later. I only paid for standard shipping, so I was very satisfied with that.
