useful and small: now with blue backlight! December 26, 2007 This is great when you want to find a chord you have never encountered before, (particularly with sheet music), but also when you want to see other places on the neck to play the same chord. It should also be noted that the two versions of this that I ordered both included a blue backlight and the display can be seen in any light. It's small enough to go in your pocket or a guitar case. Highly recommended!
Great idea - bad display. December 29, 2006 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
When one looks at the box, it appears you're getting an Indiglo back-light. That's not the case. I asked for this for X-mas from my wife. Finally tried to use it on 12/28, but I cannot clearly see the chord diagrams. And, even though I don't play in public (yet), I would find it extremely difficult to use this device in a poorly lit area (as most gigs are). Get a real backlight on this, and I would definately keep it. Unfortunately, this puppy is going back to Guitar Center.
Great Tool! January 27, 2005 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Bought this for my brother for Christmas, but was able to check it out after he opened it up....seems pretty easy to use, has a ton of chord variations.....one problem is that the screen is a little hard to see, you have to hold it just right to get a good look at the fingering for the chord displayed.....other than that I would definitely recommend this product! Better than buying chord books!
