| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The Intellitouch PT2 ''Bare Bone'' tuner is a price breakthrough. The PT2 retains the accurate and responsive tuning and ease of use of its more elaborate big brother, the classic Intellitouch tuner, but has no backlight, no carrying pouch, and only recalibrates between 438, 440 (the U.S. standard) and 442 (the European standard). It's made of bone colored hard ABS plastic, and backed by a one year warranty.

Intellitouch PT2 Tuner March 8, 2007 Great tuner for the money. I wish it was backlit for stage use when lighting is minimal.
Not the best tuner on the market March 8, 2007 The Korg tuners are much better. However, this does have a contact pick up built in, so that is a plus - Korg didn't and I had to search elsewhere for the pick up to improve my Korg tuner. I gave this tuner away because the Korg tuner with a contact pick up is superior in fine tuning a guitar, or mandolin.
Great tuners - well suited to acoustic music January 6, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These are great tuners -- very accurate and incredibly convenient to use (no cable). However, because they work acoustically they are not the best for loud situations such as a club with loud music (where you're trying to tune before a set) or if you're trying to tune up in the middle of a song (and the rest of the band is loud). Best for acoustic music. For louder situations you're better off with an electronic tuner.
Accurate, easy to use August 15, 2006 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This headstock-clamp tuner works equally well on both acoustic and electric guitars. However, the LCD display isn't backlit, so if you need to tune up in a dark room, I suggest you keep a flashlight handy (or opt for the more expensive model, which has a lighted display).
Super Tuner July 19, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is the best tuner I have used. I have a gnx4 and a Zoom 606 and this tuner is BETTER than their on board tuners. If you want to be in tune get this tuner!!!
