wind me up better than imagined August 23, 2008 thought this would make stringing my guitar easier and it did but it also made stringing my guitar downright enjoyable! the design is really functionable the peg puller is great, the winder zip zap patty wack! and the cutter all do their jobs. when i strung my first guitar with this i even notice how nice the strings look perfectly and evenly wounded cause usually im a sloppy winder, i love this thing!
Best Winder July 30, 2008 I have bought so many winders, this beats them all It has a cool cutter on it also
Nice buy July 25, 2008 Nothing is really essential in this little guy, but it puts two helpful things together on one. I always forget stuff, so for me its great to know I just need this and I'm set for tuning and cutting. It does both really well, and frankly, its not that expensive. I don't think its a necessity, but I would recommend it if you're thinking about it. Which you probably are. Because you're reading this.
OK, but! June 5, 2008 Not much better than the dollar version of the peg winder. Thought it would be more ergonomic and having the stringer cutter in one tool would be a plus.... but, not quiet up to par. You'll be better off with the dollar string winder and a cheap pair of snips.
Pro String Winder and Cutter April 5, 2008 I have used this product. It works very well, and is small enough to fit easily in my guitar case. Winding is a snap and the cutting feature is nice
