Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
This Ocarina was made and hand painted in Peru. It features Southwest Pattern design. An Ocarina (Clay Flute) is a wind instrument dated back to 3, 500 A.D. Before the Incas, mostly Tiawanaco an Wari used these. The Incas and other native tribes use Ocarinas for ritual ceremonies, agricultural festivities, war dances and to communicate from one tribe to another. Each tribe had its own tuning. The Ocarina has a mouth piece and finger holes. As you seal the mouthpiece with your lips, blow as if you are blowing bubbles. Cover the holes in different combinations to hear a delightful sound. The sound of the Ocarina is haunting, rich and unique. Folk Artisan's use a smooth fire clay to carefully tune each Ocarina.
