4 out of 5 stars So far so good   August 26, 2003
I'm listening to the fifth track right now. So far, I've been pleasantly surprised. She's obviously no Kelly Clarkson, but the songs are catchy and her vocals are nothing to be ashamed of. Great job, Hilary!

My cousin had this playing in the car. It was bad, and I mean really bad. If you are into that Justin-Britney-Pink type bile, then this will suit you just fine. Just don't call it music.

4 out of 5 stars A Surprisingly Good CD   August 26, 2003
This CD is surprisingly good. For those who expected So Yesterday/I Can't Wait fluff, you'll be surprised.

The CD is most deffinatly pop, but its pop with a rock edge. Hilary's voice isnt Celine Dion, but its not dreadful. Its just right for all the songs she sings, and all and all the songs are very fun and easy to listen to.

1. So Yesterday: Not my choice for the first single, its the "popest" song on the CD, its fun but kind blah. 2/5

2. Come Clean: The song is one of the best on the CD, with the techno beats, good meassage and catchy lyrics and meldy the song rocks. 5/5

3. Working It Out: When you hear the song for the first time its kind of weird and annoying, but the song grows on you. It has a good message 3/5

4. Little Voices: The song is pure pop-rock fun with heavy gutair, it in a sense sounds kind of like "Losing Grip" but not completly, Little Voices is funner, catchier and all and all a good song. 5/5

5. Where Did I Go Right?: Typical Girl-Has-A-Great-Boyfried-But-How-On-Earth-Did-She-Obtain-Him-She-Wonders Song, good but typical. 3/5

6. Anywhere But Here: A Soft Ballad-y type pop song, its catchy and a lot of people can relate, very very catchy. 4/5

7. The Math: A rock type song, its fun, catchy and all and all a good song. 4/5

8. Love Just Is...: The Album's ballad, its a REALLY beautiful song, its about how love doesnt always make sense. 4/5

9. Sweet Sixteen: Written by Hilary's sister Haylie, about how Hilary's 16th birthday is coming up, its fun catchy, and just pure pop fun. 3/5

10. Party Up: Good song, has some sort of Latin-Pop beat type things in it, its cathcy and fun, its very hard to explain because the song is sorta unique. 4/5

11. Metamorphosis: A good, rock-pop song, addicting (I swear!) complete with a little rap (Hehe) the song like Party Up is hard to explain, although its NOTHING like Party Up. 5/5

12. Inner Strength: This is also written by Haylie, it would be an execllent song if it were longer. It has a great message. 3/5

13. Why Not?: Who HASNT heard this song? But the lyrics are changed in the first verse. Still the same for the most part, fun bubbly pop. 3/5

All and All: 4/5
