This Album is okay......... December 26, 2005 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love this album it is written by good songwriters like Charlie Midnight and Kara Dioguardi and some of the songs were co-written by Haylie Duff. This is how I rated it:
1. So Yesterday: 85% This is like a 'chilling out' song to me, it's one of the better songs on the album. It's also not immature, it's just bratty. A good start.
2. Come Clean: 100% This is my second favorite song on the album! It's a great song and it's kinda good to dance along with. It's more of a pop song, not a rock song.
3. Workin' It Out: 50% This song is okay, it sounds like she's talking all of the time. I skip it.
4. Little Voice: 40% I think this song's pretty boring, nothing interesting.
5. Where Did I Go Right?: 95% Sounds more mature than bratty 'So Yesterday'. I like the lyrics! Though it makes a lot of sense to me.
6. Anywhere But Here: 100% I listen to this song waaaay too much and now it's stuck in my head! I'm singing it right now, while I'm typing this review up! Anyway, it shows that if you're in this particular place, you could be anywhere but here!
7. The Math: haven't even listened to it yet!
8. Love Just Is: 30% This song is not good. I hate love songs.
9. Sweet Sixteen: 65% Okay I'm not 16 yet. But you can't have everything when you're sixteen. You didn't even have your driver's licence yet! You can't vote. You can't get every single job! This song is okay.
10. Party Up: 99% This a really good song. I love to party when this song's playing! Go Hilary!
11. Metamorphosis: 90% Most of her other songs are computerised (her voice). I don't care whether they're computerised or not; This song shows her voice in a un-computerised way. I like the chorus. 'Come on and give me a kiss. You wanna insist...' Yeah that's great.
12. Inner Strength: 85% So this is supposed to show your inner strength...your inner beauty or something? I think this song is encoraging, though it's better than 'Sweet Sixteen.'
13. Why Not: 10000000% 100%: This song is excellent!!!!!! I love watching Lizzie McGuire, and I love the movie; I have watched the movie over 300 times! Basically I think this song is better than 'What Dreams Are Made Of.'! 'Why Not take a crazy chance. Why not do a crazy dance. If you lose a moment you might lose a lot. So why not?, why not?' Good songwriting....whoever wrote that.
So That's my review. Please click yes if you agree with me. Please click no if you disagree with me. HAVE A SAFE, HAPPY and MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Metamorphosis into a Star December 12, 2005 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This album is just great, i have no idea why it is only on three and a half stars when it should be five. Alot of people are just so angry with her, which i have no problem with and think that she is such as bad singer. Well she isnt, i recently went to her STILL MOST WANTED CONCERT, and it was great, she snag great, she looked great and everythibg was perfect. If she is so crap like Lindsay lohan, than why is she doing about a million times better than her. She has sold about 15 million albums, her songs in Australia (where i live) are doing great on the charts all three of her albums were in the top three in the music charts in AUstralia, US, and the Uk. Her songs debuted in the top 10 in the Uk and US. ON the other hand Lindsay Lohan has even barely made it on the charts itself.
Dont listen to those people who just hate her for no reason.
This album has got so many hits and i recommend it to anyone who loves pop music.
so yesterday December 10, 2005 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
when you 1st get it you want to listen to it, but after like a year you don't want to. Some people love it forever but I think it is just okay. So yesterday gets on your nerves so much and little voice isn't any better. But Sweet Sixteen, metamorphois, and workin' it out are probably my only favorites.

SO YESTERDAY: This is one of the better songs on the album. It shows the bratty side of Hilary. LOL It reminds me of my old boyfriend. 5/5 stars
COME CLEAN: This is a really pretty song, and probably my second favorite, next to "So Yesterday." 4/5 stars
WORKIN' IT OUT: This song is okay, but not really fun to listen to. The thing I didn't like about it was the the chorus kept repeating like, over and over, and there was usually no other words in between each chorus. 3/5 stars
LITTLE VOICE: This is an upbeat, fun song. I found the chorus cute, and sort of bratty. It's about listening to that "Little Voice" in your head that tells you to do or not to do stuff. 4/5 stars
WHERE DID I GO RIGHT: Like "Come Clean," this song is really pretty, and it sort of has a lonely melody to it. It reminds me of myself.
ANYWHERE BUT HERE: This is pretty good, not the best on the album, but pretty good. It's a fun song. 3/5 stars
THE MATH: This is not a bad song, but in my opinion, all the songs on this album are better than this one. 2/5 stars
LOVE JUST IS: A romantic, pretty song. Fun to sing along to. 4/5 stars
SWEET SIXTEEN: I love this song. It's nice, but not really different from all the other songs out there about turning 16. 4/5 stars
PARTY UP: This song is sort of a "mad" song, and it just doesn't seem like Hilary is the one who should be singing it. It's OK though. 3/5 stars
METAMORPHOSIS: This is a coming of age song, and Hilary sings it well. It's another one of my favorites. 4/5 stars
INNER STRENGTH: Way too short, but it's pretty. 4/5 stars
WHY NOT: This version of "Why Not is different from the one you hear on "The Lizzie McGuire Movie." I personally think that it shouldn't have been changed, but it's OK. 3/5 stars
These are only my opinions. You may have different, but if you're a bubble gum pop fan, you'll probably love this CD.
