5 out of 5 stars great for late talkers   February 18, 2007

we had a lot of trouble getting our little girl to talk and this dvd has really helped her identify words with objects. I love the sign language and pictures presented in such a great way. This is a great product. I would highly recommend all of the Baby Einstein products to new parents. They really are great teaching tools for you and baby. =)

5 out of 5 stars Good entertainment   December 6, 2006

My child is 6 mos and so far this is his favorite BE show and sometimes the only thing that settles him. He's seen Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, and the Dr. Doolittle vids but thus far he's been really intrigued on all levels with this one only; I believe that's because he likes Matlin doing the signing and the many times children are on screen. The music in it is actually quite good for being, well, not hardcore orchestra as far as orchestras go. It also keeps me from wanting to rip my hair out from listening to it too much since, as I stated before, it can sometimes be the only that keeps him calm and distracted from the pains of teething. This video has also saved my arms and back from holding him for a consecutive 2 hrs a day as a result of one viewing keeping him interested in other things for a while.

3 out of 5 stars Too Boring!   November 10, 2006

I love Baby Einstein products, especially the videos, but my 1year old found this one so boring he didn't sit through even the first viewing. They just say the name of something and show a picture of it and have a woman signing the word on half the screen. He loved neighborhood animals and baby neptune a lot more.

5 out of 5 stars every child is different   November 5, 2006

My 15 month old boy LOVES B.E. dvds. He watches baby wordsworth with great concentration and he is even doing some of the signs. As a mom, I'm a great lover of Baby Einstein products and I would recommend to all kids. I've read some of the reviews and it's quit abvious how different kids are from each other. That doesn't mean that dvd is bad it's just not working for some kids. It's working for my son so I'm very positive about it. As an adult, I'm so bored with the dvd and the pace but the baby einstein company didn't make the program for my age group.
