Smashing Premier Release...Can't Wait for More June 10, 2008
Yael Naim is a brilliant new star, as is evident in her inaugural album. Her unique mix of English, Hebrew and a bit of French -- both in language and musical style -- is remarkable. Beautiful to listen to, although the lyrics are almost universally about lost love. I hope that Yael's next work mixes up the themes a bit more. Bottom line -- this album goes way beyond the "Apple commercial" song that everyone's heard and introduces a remarkable young new talent who should go far in the US and international market.

I don't know what she's saying 1/2 the time, but I look forward to going over the Hebrew with a friend who speaks the language! Still, such beautiful music and I love the English lyrics I do understand!

Yael has a fabulous, soulful voice. I don't speak or understand Hebrew (about 70-80% of the album is sung in Hebrew), but it doesn't really matter. Beautiful melodies.

Beware: If you enjoy listening to folk music in a forgien languge than this is the album for you. Most of the song are in Hebrew or French. I like song I can relate too, with lyric I can understand. I don't listen to music just for the rythm and beat only. Disappointing because I really wanted to like this artist.

I'm a Brazilian, I don't understand one single word in Hebrew... But the emotion that Yael can insert in every song makes my soul travels far far away...
She is Incredible! Amazing, DIVINE!!!!!
