Based off of her popular single, I expected much more from this album which wasn't delivered. Her voice is beautiful but her "songs" are a bit out there

I bought this album because of the song "New Soul". I was entranced with the song and her voice in the Apple commercial. Then I saw her on CBS Morning show and heard "Paris" and decided I really wanted the album. It is great, all the songs worth listening to over and over again.

Well, as the subject says, I did buy this album because of the TV commercial Apple played for their Notebook Air PC. I just had to have it.
I searched on the Internet for who sings that song and found it was Yael Naim. Who? Then I found she was on video clips on You Tube.
Anyway, her voice is beautiful and different, with her French and Israeli accents. The languages are a mix of French, English and Hebrew.
The songs are easy to listen to and refreshingly different from what I consider all the crap on the radio ( I am 65 years old). She is no raving beauty, not that that matters, but she is very attactive and so full of life. I bought the CD and do not regret it at all. In fact, I am listening to it as I write this.

Yael's voice is so soothing. Songs on the album are sung in different languages...not all in English, but it doesn't matter. She has a beautiful voice in every language she sings in!
