4 out of 5 stars Very Good   May 3, 1999

This collection is filled with many beautiful renditions of Beethoven's great music. My only complaint (and the only reason why this CD gets four stars instead of five) is that the Ode to Joy is only instrumental and does not include the great choral part. Other than that, I recommend you buy this CD.

5 out of 5 stars the most beautiful collection   April 11, 1999

This CD has the most beautiful collection of Beethoven's music. The musicians are great and the music itself makes you feel humble.

5 out of 5 stars I love this CD.   January 15, 1999

This was one of my first examples of classical music. It is a good all around introduction to Beethoven. I still love it. This December when my astronomy club gathered to watch a meteor shower, this was one of the CD's played.
