This was a great buy. Very easy to put together, adjustable height, and very strudy. Not much to it but that is what makes it good.

Like everyone else I got a taped up open box that I was convinced had parts missing in shipping. When I got it opened on the floor and started to assemble I thought *&%# the screws are missing. My son was disappointed as he was all excited to get this for his keyboard. Then something told me to look at the ends of the poles and voila! there were the screws! So nothing was missing and I put it together in about 10 minutes (not including the hour it took me to find my wrench for the one nut near the height adjuster) All in all it was well worth the low, low price and it got shipped for free so double bonus. My son is so happy with his stand he's actually practicing more in his Schaum books. Which I also got free shipped from Amazon. I just love this little shop.
 Poorly packaged and need music holder March 5, 2004

I bought this from Amazon last year (for significantly more at the list price) and it arrived in the product package with a lot of tape on the ends and torn on one end. Luckily there was no damage and no lost parts. It's a sturdy stand for the price but I wish it had a clamp-on attachment for a music holder (due to limited available living space). There's probably something like this available from another manufacturer and retailer, but I am still searching.

The Casio Stand is very suitable for the purpose that I purchased it. What I am not satisfied with is how it was packaged and the fact that a hinge bolt was missing from the package. There was a 10" opening in the side of the carton and this is most likely how the bolt was lost. I believe that Amazon should have packaged this item better but Fedex could have also handled it a little better. I will simply purchase the bolt myself as we all know this is the easiest method for me.

This product, although it turned out to work alright, caused me to have major doubts even upon receiving it. First of all, I ordered this product new, and payed the "new" price of it. Upon arrival though, the box was taped at both ends and was not in good shape. Amazon, I am a dedicated shopper of yours but what were you thinking?
Luckily, all of the pieces were there (to my surprise) although you have to really pay attention to the picture on the box in order to put it together correctly. All in all this product has turned out to be a good one, but many obvious factors prevent it from receiving 5 stars. It is not as secure as I thought it would be, but this is only slightly insecure.
So, all around, this product receives a three. If I knew I was going to get a used stand though, I simply would have paid for a used stand. My only warning is to be aware of this. Otherwise, this product is a good one.
