 Not as great as a Dr. Beat June 26, 2007
This metronome doesn't have the same features as some of the larger, better ones, like the Dr. Beat. With that said, for what it is, it's great. The only problem is the one that's already been mentioned...when you use headphones, you only get the sound in one ear. Still, for playing with other musicians, this is actually not a bad thing at all.

The volume control goes directly from inaudible to painfully loud when using an earphone, yet not loud enough when using without an earphone. Can't distinguish the lead beat in 2/4 time. The digital display is not precise, rather seems all over the place with way too large digital dots on each beat. Unuseable. I am looking for a better one right now.
Would not recommend.

I bought this to use with my harmonica. It's easy to use, durable, portable, and affordable! Beginners and intermediate musicians alike can benefit from the many rythyms available. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The price is great for a nice little metronome that will keep you on beat. It is lightweight, doesn't take up a lot of room.
