It was just what my daughter expected, she was excited that it was of good quality since she paid for it with her own money.

This is a great music stand for a great price. It's metal and has a solid base so it's not tipsy. I've seen it used in orchestras but it blends into the home decor because of it's simplicity. Great for longterm use, especially for growing young musicians. I prefer this over the portable, foldable wire stands.
