Barely worth the money March 15, 2006 9 out of 16 found this review helpful
This is a cheap stand, sure...but it's not a value. First of all, it's a horrible pain in the rear to assemble. The directions included with the unit are sub-standard, giving a simple diagram that's of very little help. Personally, I got so frustrated assembling it that I nearly put it through a window. Take my advice--spend a few more dollars to get a decent stand from a local music store (most likely fully assembled) and leave this one alone.
Wrong stand. February 27, 2006 8 out of 11 found this review helpful
this is the wrong stand for the keyboard that is advertised with it.
Good Stand for the price December 30, 2005 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
A good stand for the price, although a little hard to put together. Fits my ypt-200 perfectly, it looks a lot better on the stand than sitting on a bookcase.
Excellent Value December 29, 2005 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
This stand is very sturdy, adjustable, and not so complicated to put together, although the instructions could have been more detailed. The double X frame is great for my 11yr old.
I paid less than I would of at a retail store.
Not what I expected December 27, 2005 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I got the Yamaha EZ 250i keyboard for Christmas and my wife bought the recommended stand, but it doesn't fit the way you would expect it to. The keyboard has recessed areas underneath that you would expect the stand to fit into. Not so with this "Yamaha PKBX2" unit. It is sturdy and cheap, but we would've paid more for a stand that actually fits into the keyboard.
If anyone figures out which stand is designed for the EZ 250i, please post.
