Difficult to assemble. March 11, 2008 This stand was a nightmare to assemble. The so-called "directions" were nothing more than one tiny sheet of paper with one confusing diagram.
Well worth the $$$ March 4, 2008 Well worth the price. Very stable product.
I was a bit worried reading the reviews. I found that the instructions were missing the first step, which could have confused people. But it is fairly simple to figure it out. Very easy to assemble. Took me around 15 minutes, including looking for my wrench.
I have the Yamaha Portable Grand DGX-220. I just put it on the stand and I found that it was very very stable.
I would recommend it to anyone with a somewhat heavy keyboard, who is looking for a stand.
great product February 28, 2008 It's cheap, what else do you want? If you weren't looking for something cheap, then you probably wouldn't even be looking at this item. It seems pretty sturdy to me. The locking mechanism can be a bit of a pain when you want to adjust height level or put it away (I found that mine was very resistant to coming completely out of the slot). But it's really cheap, and it gets the job done.
Great product...good quality February 24, 2008 Good and sturdy product. It was a little tricky to build but nothing major. Once I was done, it proved to be quite a great stand. Like I said, it's very sturdy and durable. I love the fact that I can adjust the height to fit my needs as well.
Keyboard Stand February 13, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Purchased for 4 year old son's keyboard. NOT a Yamaha stand. This is false advertising. Instructions are horrible, although common sense and looking at the box should make it relatively simplistic to assemble. Fairly sturdy, but since its generic, doesn't do anything to hold a Yamaha keyboard securely. I recommend that you also purchase some velcro to keep the keyboard secure.
