| Customer Reviews:
An essential tool. October 24, 2007 I have just begun learning(??) the guitar. Obviously, strings will go out of tune readily and I have no other way to set/recheck the tuning. This device is simple and intuitive to use, even for a beginner. I can't imagine how any musician could be without such a device and, for the money, why would they?
Minor issue: The LCD "needle" display will sometimes hold the indication well after ( 3 or 4 seconds) an audible tone is gone. Maybe there's an adjustment I need to find.
Recommeded.

Fantastic October 15, 2007 I have been using this tuner for 7 years. It is easy to use, accurate and can be dropped a lot and still work! Even my students have bought it because it is so user friendly.
works great! October 15, 2007 I purchased this item so i could tune my guitar, banjo, and violin all with one machine and it does just that. Everything is great about it except if your strings are very out of tune then the machine will not recognize it as the proper string at all and it can be kinda difficult to tune from there.
Great tool, with just a couple of caveats September 17, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I agree with everything else that's been said here and elsewhere on the internet regarding how functional and easy to use this tool is. There are just 2 things I was surprised to find that hadn't been mentioned elsewhere: 1) The speaker volume is not adjustable (at least I haven't found the volume button!), and it's too loud for me. 2) It can't pick up the highest and lowest octaves on my piano. It's possible that there are too many overtones, or that an external microphone would help, but I'd be surprised if either of those issues are the source of the problem.
Worth the Money September 10, 2007 I got this on sale for like $11 and what an amazing little tool for the money!
I just started teaching myself to play the guitar and two skills I was very nervous about doing for the first time included tuning the instrument and re-stringing the instrument...
This electric tuner made tuning the instrument EASY!! It works perfectly and is small/compact and easy to to use.
I highly recommend it.
