5 out of 5 stars Great Value   June 18, 2008
The Korg MA-30 offers the same features as metronomes that cost up to $15-$20 dollars more. For the money it's a great value. The metronome is plenty loud. It can beat sub-divisions, time signatures, and has an adequate digital display. It's also very durable. I've dropped it countless times and the machine still works great. The only feature this metronome doesn't do is beat sub-divisions while beating in a time signature. The cheapest metronomes I found that offered this feature started around $40, like the Dr. Beat 30.

5 out of 5 stars Great item for the price.   June 14, 2008
Great for personal practice sessions with wind instruments. (I'm a trumpet player.) Good selection of tempi, time signatures, and sounds. Great battery life. Tuner is tone only, no feedback, but useful.

4 out of 5 stars Perfect and easy to use   May 5, 2008
I bought two of these. Both for kids starting music lessons. It's very easy to use. Both kids learned how to use in no time. Volume control is very usefull. Great product.

5 out of 5 stars Great buy   April 12, 2008
This is a great price for a metronome. Small and easy to use and Amazon had the best price. Everyone knows that the metronome is an important device to help with becoming better with practice. If you need a metronome get this and something else to reach the 25 dollar amount to receive free shipping.

4 out of 5 stars Good Little Metronome. OK for Banjo, IMO.   April 6, 2008
This is an inexpensive and easy-to-use metronome, more than sufficient for my requirements. I like the tap function, which lets you "copy" tempos that you hear. I also like the little fold-out stand on the back, which allows you to sit the unit upright on a table top. (A feature lacking in the Korg Chromatic Tuner, BTW.)

A previous reviewer opined that the MA-30 is not loud enough for use with a banjo. I actually find the volume to be sufficient. (Then again, my banjo may be less loud than some others.)

I don't really think you can go wrong with this metronome.
